A grocery store becomes a landscape for intergalactic battle in this grisly sci-fi thriller. As the Hastings Market closes down for the night, its lingering shoppers become hostages for a crack military unit that takes control of the store. The team seeks out the deadly alien intruders lurking in the aisles, with the power to inhabit the bodies of humans.
I can honestly say this was probably one of the worse science fiction movies I have seen, this year. I know the movie has been out for a while but it seemed like it might have been a little bit interesting. Though, after watching it, I really wished I didn’t bother seeing it.
This was one of those cheesy B-Movies you think might get better, when time goes on, but it’s not. The acting was horrible and it looked as if the movie was filmed with an 8mm camera.
The story, itself, completely sucked. They didn’t explain how or why the aliens were there and taking over people’s bodies. If they did explain it, it must have been about 2 seconds long and I don’t recall them mentioning anything about it.
When they did show the cop, who had the alien inside of him, it looked so lame that I couldn’t even put it into words. They showed one single alien, through out the entire movie, and it wasn’t even close up. The ending was predictable because they tried to make it sound like it was the boy that was the king alien but it was actually the first cashier / the girl he liked.
I’m sorry for the spoilers on this movie, but I figured I’ll save you the time, money and effort. I try not to spoil movies for people but if the movie sucks, I might as well. So, don’t waste your time with this movie.
