Waking groggy in pitch darkness, Paul Conroy, an American truck driver working as a contractor in Iraq in 2006, slowly realizes he is trapped inside a wooden coffin, buried alive. With his cigarette lighter, he can see the trap he is in, and he quickly realizes that there’s not enough air for him to live long. He finds within the coffin a working cellphone, which allows him contact with the outside world. But the outside world proves not to be very helpful at finding a man buried in a box in the middle of the Iraqi desert. Paul must rely on his best resource–himself.
When I first saw the trailer to this movie, I thought it would have been a lot better, than how it turned out.
When the movie started out, it took about 15 minutes to finally go from black to a guy in a wooden box. I was expecting some type of storyline, but it’s just him inside of a box for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The only good part was probably when the snake came into the box. Other than that, the movie completely sucked, in my opinion.
What I didn’t understand was how the cell phone lasted on battery that long. I really wished my cell phone would last that long, without needing to charge it. Also, I didn’t understand how the guy lasted that longer without air, as well. He kept using the lighter, started a fire, and even panicked so many times. Though, his air never ran out and it took sand to get to him, before he died.
Usually, I don’t like to spoil the movies, but this one was so awful that I wanted to make sure you don’t want to see it, because there’s better movies to watch and spend an hour and a half watching, instead of this trash.
