Movie Summary

A spoof of vampire-themed movies, where teenager Becca finds herself torn between two boys. As she and her friends wrestle with a number of different dramas, everything comes to a head at their prom.

The comedy masterminds behind Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, and Meet the Spartans drive a squeaky rubber stake through the heart of the Twilight series with this irreverent satire about a teenage girl who’s torn between two supernatural suitors. As Becca struggles to contend with her overbearing father, two fierce rivals compete to win her heart. But Becca isn’t the only high-school student having a hard time with boys; her friends are all desperate to find a date for the prom, and as the big night draws near, the rampant tension draws out the animals in everyone.

Movie Review

When I saw the trailer to this movie, I was expecting it to be a lot more funnier, than it actually turned out to be. After watching Vampires Suck, it felt like I watched a Kung Pow version of Twilight.

As for the storyline, it was basically laid out where they put the original Twilight, Eclipse, and New Moon all into one film. The bad thing about this movie was it was only about an hour and sixteen minutes. So, it felt more like watching a TV show, than anything else. Another thing was with all the comedy. I know it’s suppose to be a full nonstop comedy film, but it felt like they over did it. Just about every five minutes, they had a comedy scene, and it lasted through-out the entire movie.

Out of the entire film, I thought (maybe) three scenes were actually funny. I won’t explain which ones, because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, who is still interested in watching this movie. It felt more like they ruined all the funniest scenes through the trailer, but that’s nothing new. Since, that’s all they do now is show the best scenes in the trailer. That way, they can get people interested in watched the movie and wasting their money.

As far as the acting goes, I didn’t see any errors and thought all of the characters played their roles well. Most of the characters really did look close enough to real actors and actresses. So, I didn’t have any complaints, with that.

If you haven’t seen this movie, it’s not really worth watching, in my opinion. Though, if you have a girlfriend or wife, who loves Twilight, then you’ll probably enjoy seeing her reaction to this movie. The only real good thing this movie had going for it was it’s creativity. To actually enjoy this movie, you’ll probably have to be extremely high.

Like I mentioned earlier, this movie is very similar to the movie Kung Pow. So, if you enjoyed that film, then you will enjoy this one, as well. If you thought Kung Pow was stupid and a waste of film, then you won’t like this movie, either.
